The primary objective is to create a meticulously designed and consistent user interface for all products within the Frappeverse ecosystem. You can now explore Espresso’s components in action on the FrappeUI website, which serves as a live playground for this exciting design system!

Frappe Builder

Frappe Builder represents Frappe’s latest no-code WYSIWYG website builder, designed with an exceptionally user-friendly interface for crafting responsive websites. Furthermore, it incorporates advanced functionalities such as repeaters and dynamic routes, enabling the seamless retrieval and display of dynamic data from your Frappe website.

Exciting news! We’ve just unveiled a much-anticipated revamp of the CRM module in ERPNext, and it’s now officially known as FrappeCRM! During a presentation, Sharique provided a demonstration of the current state of the new FrappeCRM, and he also shared his plans for its future development. What truly impressed me was that he managed to create this in just a few weeks 🏃🏼, thanks to the robust Frappe Framework on the backend and the flexibility of FrappeUI for customising the frontend. Personally, I was particularly impressed by the in-app phone call feature (powered by Twilio) and the seamless note-taking workflow. Cool stuff!

Run Anything on FC!

In the Frappe Cloud keynote presentation, Aditya unveiled the groundbreaking ‘stacks’ feature. Among other new features like Codespaces, BYOD, VPN, and more, ‘stacks’ stole the spotlight. This game-changing addition allows users to deploy a variety of services on Frappe Cloud, expanding its capabilities beyond hosting Frappe sites. In a remarkable demo, Aditya pasted a docker-compose file for WordPress, and within seconds, Frappe Cloud recognized the necessary services and created a functional WordPress site. Frappe Drive

Frappe Drive was showcased by Arjun, the Product Engineer at Frappe. It is a Beautiful new Frappe Product for managing your files on your Frappe site. It Has Folder Uploads, sharing, previews for a Variety of file types, and much more!

That is not it, it has an in-built document editor for creating, editing, and sharing documents. Heck, it even has real-time collaboration

Frappe/ERPNext V15

The upcoming major release of ERPNext and Frappe Framework is set to launch officially on October 20th, 2023, bringing with it a host of exciting new features and enhancements. Here are some noteworthy highlights:

New Form Builder:
Say goodbye to the hassle of manually adding column breaks to fields tables. With V15, you can now create your DocType forms visually through a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. This functionality even extends to Customize Form!

Workflow Builder:
Sharique introduced the impressive new visual workflow builder, simplifying the process of designing workflows.

Lower CPU & Memory Usage:
The Framework team’s efforts in making incremental optimizations have resulted in significant improvements in terms of both memory and CPU usage. Expect a smoother experience.

BOM Creator:
Rohit provided a sneak peek of the upcoming multi-level Bill of Materials (BOM) creator feature, which will be a valuable addition in ERPNext Version 15.

FrappeHR Mobile

The response was nothing short of excitement when Rucha introduced the brand-new FrappeHR Mobile App. FrappeHR Mobile stands as a Progressive Web App (PWA), skillfully crafted using FrappeUI, VueJS, and Ionic. During the presentation, she emphasized how FrappeHR Mobile’s user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) have been finely tuned for seamless mobile phone usage. All the essential features, including Leave Management, Salary Slips, Expense Claims, Attendance, and more, are now conveniently accessible with just a simple tap.

Revenue Sharing For Marketplace Apps

Nabin introduced an exciting initiative during the presentation of new FOSS Frappe apps backed by the Frappe Incubator Program: the Frappe Cloud Marketplace’s Revenue Sharing Program. When developers publish their FOSS apps on the marketplace and these apps are installed on a Frappe Cloud site, they become eligible to earn a portion of the revenue generated by Frappe Cloud hosting. The exact sharing criteria will depend on app activation and usage. This announcement is fantastic news for teams and developers, relieving them of monetization concerns and allowing them to prioritize improving app quality and usefulness to attract more users, fostering innovation in the Frappe community.

Frappe Insights Gets Shiny New Updates!

Frappe Insights made its debut at the previous ERPNext Conference and has since undergone significant refinements and enhancements. Saqib recently unveiled some of the notable new features:

Data Sources:

Frappe Insights now allows connection to PostgreSQL databases and the upload of CSV files, broadening its data accessibility.

Visual Query Builder:

A revamped visual query builder simplifies the creation of complex queries.

Script Queries:

Users can now employ Python scripts to customize data querying, including API integration.

Notebooks:

Introducing a unique blend of Notion’s document aesthetics and Jupyter notebooks’ interactive cells, enhancing the user experience.

Chart Variety:

Frappe Insights introduces additional chart types for diverse data visualisation needs.

Templates:

A new feature enables users to browse, import, and export pre-built Insights dashboards, facilitating seamless sharing and reuse across the Frappe Insights community and other Frappe applications.
